Perth New Yard

The turntable at Perth New Yard in October 2008, photographed looking north. When installed this was a state-of-the-art turntable, whether electrically powered or turned by conventional handle. By the 1980s nothing worked except by pushing, although by then it was used mainly for turning on-track machines.
