Hampton Court
Prototype 4-PEP unit 4001 on a Hampton Court service in June 1975. One of 3 similar units used as part of an extensive BR testing and research programme in the 1970s. Eventually withdrawn in 1977 the units provided valuable input into the design and features incorporated in subsequent production classes.
