West Ruislip
A grandiose run-in board for a suburban station, photographed in March 1985. The station was opened by the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway in 1906 as Ruislip & Ickenham, changed to the name shown here in 1947 and, in the latter days of British Rail, was changed once again, this time to plain West Ruislip.
