View south along the Hopeman branch towards Alves Junction in the early 1980s with Roseisle Maltings on the left. A new £40m malt whisky distillery is scheduled to open near here in 2009. Utilisation of the former branch rail network is being considered by Diageo to serve these locations as well as their facility at Cameron Bridge.
