Newcastle Central
A gleaming A3 Pacific No 60052 Prince Palatine with a SLPF special at Newcastle Central in June 1965. The special is preparing to head for Carlisle then on to Edinburgh via the Waverley route. 60052 was transferred from Gateshead to St Margarets in 1963 where she served out her twilight years until eventual withdrawal in January 1966.
