Shawhill Junction
After crossing north over the Solway Viaduct the Solway Junction Railway headed for Annan Shawhill station. On its way the line crossed this more modest structure, which spans Seafield Road between the Solway shoreline and the town of Annan itself. Note the Chapelcross waste water pipeline, fitted with metal safety railings at this point. View east in May 2008, with the town of Annan behind the camera.
