Carlisle Upperby Shed

Stanier pacific 46200 The Princess Royal stands in the sunshine in a stored locomotive siding at Upperby following her withdrawal from Kingmoor shed in November 1962. The locomotive was subsequently shipped north and finally met her end in the Calder scrapyard of Messrs Connell & Co, Coatbridge, in October 1964.
