Wallingford

The legendary GWR locomotive City of Truro backing onto a train at Wallingford on the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway on 29 June 2008. No 3440 is believed to have been the first locomotive to break the 100mph barrier, having reached a top speed of 102.3 mph while hauling the Ocean Mails express from Plymouth to London Paddington on 9 May 1904.
