Bristol Marsh Junction

The last surviving North British Class 22, (D)6319, at Bristol Marsh Junction. It was one of the last to receive a works overhaul but had been withdrawn some time previously in November 1971. There was an attempt at preservation as this was by then (apart from two wrecks at Barry) the last NBL main line diesel loco in existence but by November 1972 it had been called into Swindon Works and broken up, apparently by mistake.
