Wilpshire

A Class 25 runs light engine towards Blackburn through the closed Wilpshire station on a fine spring evening in 1975. Although the platform on the left still exists that in front of the station building has now gone but the building itself survives as a home. When the line to Clitheroe reopened to passengers the new station, Ramsgreave and Wilpshire, was built some 400 yards south of here.
