Meadowbank Stadium
Heres one to sort out the anoraks from the obsessives. When ScotRail was invented by BR in the mid 1980s and started branding its station nameboards, the first station I saw get the treatment was Linlithgow and the ScotRail part was bright red not blue. I never saw the red anywhere else and the Linlithgow ones were eventually replaced by the blue version as seen here. The red was presumably a failed trial...does anyone have a photograph of the red version?
