Larbert
Obstruction Danger! In May 1990 a wagon on a northbound freight derailed on the points north of Larbert into the path of the 8.12 ex Dunblane DMU. Fortunately for the photographer, the DMU has just completed its emergency stop, but with not that much to spare. The damaged wagon was eventually removed and subsequently languished in the sidings at Larbert for a further 12 years!
