Belses

Less than 10 miles north from Hawick on the Waverley route stood Belses station. Closed in 1969, it has since been converted to residential accomodation and is seen here, standing on its embankment, on 6 February 2008. View is east, looking across the driveway from a layby alongside the B6400 road. (The rail bridge that once spanned the road immediately north of the station is long gone.) See image 28694
