The Mound
On leaving The Mound the Dornoch branch turned sharply south, crossing upper Loch Fleet via a bridge onto the causeway See image 9211. Looking north across the narrows from the causeway on 31 August the top of the surviving bridge abutment can just be seen amongst the trees.
