Kirknewton

An eastbound train calls at Kirknewton station on 5 March 2007. The unique old station building, with its severe angular structure, pseudo-castellations, ball finials et al always conjures up thoughts of the aftermath of an architects night out. (The building was actually designed by Sir William Tite 1798 - 1873)
