Ayr MPD
08718 (ex-D3886) (nearest) and 08586 (ex-D3753) stand out of use awaiting disposal on the north side of Ayr shed yard on 25 February 1998. The locomotives, which had ended their operational lives at Fort William and Upperby carriage depot respectively, were eventually cut up here by European Metal Recycling in May 2000.
