| / /1911 | Tyndrum Lead and Zinc Mines Ltd This new company builds a new lead mill at Tyndrum to process both the waste material from previous mining (some 40,000 tons) and output from new lead mines. Much of the route of a former tramway is brought back into use between the mill and Tyndrum [CandO] station, with new sidings on the south side of the main line. An incline is opened uphill to mines from the west end of the tramway. |
