![A 1988 visit finds the Dunaskin Central Washer (known as the Burnton Washer) soon to be demolished with the disused Culter sidings to the right. ![Wrecked HAAs at Dunaskin in May 2004, the result of a derailment in 1990. They lay there for approximately 19 years and I gather that they have just been removed. On the left is the Network Rail line to Chalmerston, then the ARPG line.<br>

![At the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre (ARPG) on 15 August 2010 lies this Giesl fitted boiler, belonging to the former NCB No 8 (AB 1296 of 1912 ex-Polkemmet Colliery). ![The Scottish Industrial Railway Museum is operated by the Ayshire <br>
Railway Preservation Group and on 29 May 2011 former NCB Ayrshire Area No.10, an Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST, operated brake van trips up the headshunt from their station at Dunaskin. The line nearest the camera is the former line to Dalmellington and the currently mothballed Scottish Coal track to the Chalmerston loading point. <br>

![No.10 giving rides in the converted brake van at ARPG Dunaskin on 26 June 2015. The nearer two lines belong to ARPG while the Network Rail line to Dalrymple Junction is beyond. It has seen no coal traffic for about three years and is currently 'out of use'.
