Major disruption due to extreme weather [ScotRail]

Date: 03/10/2020

A forecast of high winds and heavy rain in parts of Scotland today has prompted an Amber weather warning from the Met Office. In response to this, Scotlands Railway will put in place a blanket 40mph speed restrictions covering the affected routes from 16:00 today. We^ll also implement a controlled shut-down of the network in these areas from approximately 19:00 tonight.
