Oh dear, what can the matter be, the train driver’s stuck in the lavatory [Sun]

The railwayman had rushed to the ticket office to answer a sudden call of nature but somehow got locked in leaving his train stranded on the platform. By the time he was finally rescued by a colleague the rush-hour service had to be cancelled, triggering delays up to an hour. Last night, passenger Stephen Quinn, 22, said: 'This guy turned up in a car and opened the door. The driver was pretty red-faced.

The driver of 320 318 has just switched from tail to driving lights in readiness to depart Balloch for Airdrie on 14 June.  Twelve years on from a visit in 1998 [see image 21990] and little has changed apart from the livery of the 320.
