River Tay Viaduct (1863-)
Opened on the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway.
This is a single track viaduct over the River Tay just north of the former Dalguise station. The castellated abutments are rather fine. It consists of two lattice girders of 210ft and 141ft. The southern girder is the longer and there are approach masonary arches at either end. The bridge was designed by Joseph Mitchell. Also called Dalguise Viaduct.
