Loco shed
Kittybrewster Shed (1854-1961)
Opened on the Great North of Scotland Railway.
This depot was both a roundhouse and shed. Approach was from the north and the shed was located on the west side of the line.
Postal trains to Aberdeen were brought to the shed for turning.
British Railways assigned the shed code 61A with sub sheds at Alford Shed, Ballater Shed, Fraserburgh Shed, Macduff Shed and Peterhead Shed.
Nothing remains of the sheds, the site is now occupied by an industrial estate.
