Name and dates

Gree Siding (1903-1930)

Opened on the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway.

Description

This goods yard was on the south side of the line, approached from the west. It consisted of three sidings and a loading bank in a cutting. Gree Farm is to the east.

The cutting has been infilled. After closure a loading gauge stood for many years after closure.

To the immediate east the A736 crosses the trackbed on an unusual concrete skewed bridge.
