Braidenhill Colliery No 1

Served by the North Monkland Railway.

Description

This colliery was north of Kipps Junction and railway served, a siding running from the west side of the North Monkland Railway north into the colliery.

Braidenhill Colliery No 2 was further north and also railway served. North Kipps Quarry was to the south, also railway served.

The colliery was closed by 1910.
