Hams Hall Freight Terminal

Not a pig in sight... as 08633 shunts container flats at Hams Hall on a nice bright Wednesday morning in June 2012. This former power station site now contains a Sainsbury's food warehouse and a BMW engine factory, as well as a container terminal. [Ken Strachan]

Ipstones to Caldon Low (North Staffordshire Railway)

A sight to warm the cockles of your heart, and one or two other bits, given appropriate wind direction. A most excellent 'new old' station, to boot. [Ken Strachan]

J. T. Treffry^s Railway (East)

'To let - small holiday cotage - would suit railway enthusiast...' scene at Luxulyan station on the Newquay branch in August 1989 with a DMU from Par arriving at the platfform. [Ian Dinmore]

J. T. Treffry^s Railway (West)

Newquay branch intermediate station St Columb Rd has been reduced to basic, albeit very tidy, facilities and the loop was removed a long time ago. View west towards Quintrel Downs and Newquay. [Mark Bartlett]

Liskeard and Caradon Railway

This is Moorswater viaduct, seen from Moorswater, and not to be confused with Liskeard viaduct [see image 29447]. The train is the Pathhfinder Tours Hullaba-Looe on 10 February 2013. One of the piers for the earlier timber viaduct can be seen above the second coach. [Ken Strachan]

Liskeard and Looe Railway (Liskeard and Looe Union Canal)

Looking towards the buffers at Looe with passengers boarding 153305 for the journey to Liskeard on 14 October 2015. [John McIntyre]
