Carlisle Goods Loop (Carlisle Goods Traffic Committee)

A long-welded rail train stabled on the former goods line at Dentonholme in 1986. The line had recently been closed to regular traffic when the River Caldew bridge was wrecked by a runaway train derailment [See image 59687]. Could be a new unit from local builder NEI Cowans Sheldon. [Bill Roberton]
