Newtongrange
Detail showing part of the former offices of the Dean Oil Works (the old rail served yard of which is now occupied by Newtongrange station) seen here from what was once the street level staff entrance from the A7 Murderdean Road. The old building has since been refurbished, refitted and reopened as a community hub, incorporating a cafe, known as 'The Sidings'. Photographed in May 2013, prior to construction of a stairway to the right which now provides pedestrian access to the new station.
