Stanhope

Stanhope station, closed in 1953, has been magnificently restored for County Durham's heritage Weardale Railway. This scene is on the afternoon of 11th May 2019 with UK Railtours' excursion from London Kings Cross which, because of earlier late running, was only here for 35 minutes so it was a mad dash to see everything, take photos and be back on board in time for departure.
