Tirphil
37421 hauls the second evening commuter train from Cardiff Central to Rhymney out of Tirphil on 27th August 2019. Fans of the class 37 exhaust note should enjoy these trains, as there are some 15 stops - especially tuneful uphill. We had risen at 04.30 to catch the 07.24 into Cardiff - a long day. see image 25707 for the same station looking rather less spruce over 30 years ago.
