Downpatrick

0-4-0T broad gauge steam locomotive no. 1 (1934) just arrived back from Inch Abbey at Downpatrick station, Downpatrick & County Down Railway, Northern Ireland, on 28th July 2018. This is the only heritage broad gauge line in the British Isles. It was opened in 1987 and runs for four miles from Downpatrick to Inch Abbey along the course of the much longer Belfast & County Down Railway that was closed in 1950.
