York

DRS owned large logo 37401 Mary Queen of Scots sits in the DRS stabling siding between York station and the new NR signalling centre. This loco was the first of the two Class 37s, both now in operation with DRS on Cumbrian Coast passenger services, that were extensively rebuilt at Bo'ness by volunteers of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society diesel group. The second, 37403, is SPRS owned and on hire to DRS, whilst a further SRPS loco, 37025, is on hire to Colas for use hauling NR test trains around the UK network. Didn't they do well.
