Malton

There are three extant road over rail bridges across closed lines within Malton & Norton. One of these is seen, in a westerly view looking towards Malton Town centre, on Old Maltongate Road, which was the main road to Pickering pre the Malton by-pass removing most of traffic heading towards Pickering and Whitby. The trackbed is still used as a path for a distance either side of the bridge.
