Kirkham North Junction
In the new railway age it seems that every set of points is a junction. A Pacer bound for Blackpool South on 16th April 2018 slows on the new down line waiting for a train to come off the single track branch at the new Kirkham West Junction. See image 62623 for the same location just three months earlier. New raised parapets on the bridge now prevent a direct comparison.
