Glasgow Queen Street High Level

The building that never was. Construction ceased some time ago on what was to be the new Scotrail staff building at Glasgow Queen Street when plans to extend Buchanan Galleries were revived. It is planned to dismantle the steelwork and put it to use elsewhere, and it is hoped that some of the foundations might be incorporated into the the Buchanan Galleries Extension. The work so far is reputed to have cost in the region of £5M.
