The demolition of the Platform 11 buildings has ostensibly reached half-way on 9 October as the upper storey has now gone. Once the building is history excavation can start on the extension of bay Platform 12 from behind the building. The buffers will be in the foreground of the picture. The escalator will be resited; for the time being passengers have to use the stairs.
