Inverkeithing Shipbreaking Yard

View from a passing train of the R & M Supplies (formerly T W Ward) scrapyard at Inverkeithing Bay. In the foreground is the Rosyth Dockyard branch. A Fowler diesel shunts cement wagons with many more in the background. These were of a batch involved in a derailment at Cupar on 4 July 1988 which identified an axle flaw as the cause. The Whitby class frigate HMS Eastbourne F73 nears the end by the jetty. 1989.
