One of Blackpool's batch of Jubilees, no 45584 North West Frontier, stands alongside platform 4 at a misty Carlisle station on 11 July 1964. The locomotive had arrived on the 8.50am summer Saturday working from Blackpool Central, with through coaches for Perth and Edinburgh Princes Street and was awaiting the signal to head for Upperby.
