Barrow-in-Furness
The foliage on the right might suggest this was taken in Cornwall but it's actually Barrow-in-Furness! 37402 awaits departure from platform 3 with the 11:40 to Carlisle, having arrived (slightly early) just over ten minutes previously on the 08:42 from the Border city. The train was well patronised by enthusiasts - mostly grey-haired (I hasten to add I also fall within this category) - including Railscot contributor David Spaven, who is lurking in the shadows on the right. 21st October 2016
