Weggis

Flagship of the fleet of 21 vessels operated by the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company, PS Stadt Luzern slows to call at the pier at Weggis on 29th June 2016. This is the largest vessel on the lake, with a capacity of 1200 passengers, and one of five operational paddle steamers in the fleet. Behind the ship, with its summit shrouded in cloud, is Mount Pilatus which has the steepest cog railway in the world connecting with the Lucerne steamers at Alpnachstad.
