Dewsbury Central
An investigatory visit along Railway Street and Goods Lane, where the old Railway Street Goods Yard previously stood, brought an unexpected view of the arched viaduct from the former GNR line that ran between Wakefield Westgate and Bradford Exchange via Ossett, Dewsbury Central and Batley. The view looking east shows the section running to the rear of a warehousing company yard, as seen through the boundary fencing alongside Goods Lane. Dewsbury Central station was sited some 400m off to the left.
