Eshiels Tunnel

The first time a Railscot contributor (Colin Harkins, see image 10790) photographed this tunnel, 1 mile east of Peebles, it was spooky and neglected. Since then a cycle and walkway has been built through it and now it's just spooky. This is the east portal, complete with (almost whole) telegraph insulators. This short tunnel took the line under the A72.
