Preston (Ribble Branch)

Hawthorn Leslie (3931/1938) 0-6-0ST Linda crosses Lockside Road with a RSR Gala service in April 2016. This powerful loco was delivered new to Corby for ironstone work and reboilered there as late as 1970 making it a candidate for preservation. It acquired its name while working on the Swanage Railway and returned to operational service in 2015 after a restoration at Ribble Steam to their usual high standards.
