Little Hereford

A distinctly scenic spot to the West of Tenbury Wells on the way to Woofferton see image 21588. This is taken from the former alignment of the A456, now a layby, while the course of the modern road runs straight past the trees on the right. An abutment of the former railway bridge still stands, some 50 years after closure. The shelf visible among the trees to the left is the course of the former Tenbury Canal, much of which was built over by the railway.
