Gateshead Shed

Gresley V3 67678 in the shed yard at a snowy Gateshead, thought to have been photographed in December 1962. The locomotive had been released from Parkhead and moved south following Clydeside electrification. The 2-6-2T gave another two years service until withdrawal in November 1964. It was eventually cut up by Messrs T J Thompson of Stockton in February 1965.
