St Boswells

View south from the Kelso branch platform track with the locomotive shed to the left and platforms to the right. Three strange little roofs (which appear to be post closure additions) overhang the trackbed each above one of the non blocked up windows into the shed. To protect the window shutters perhaps? Does anyone know their purpose?
