Carlisle
More often than not this turns out to be my first shot of the day when I visit Carlisle to see the Fellsman or Dalesman - I particularly like the way that the light is reflected off the side of the loco / tender and it isn’t dependent on there being blazing sunshine outside. On 13 August 2015 there was even a decent amount of smoke drifting from the chimney as 45699 Galatea ran into platform 3 with the arriving Dalesman.
