Hest Bank

Cumbrian Coast loco hauled services have now gone over to push-pull operation with a single Class 37/4 replacing the previous top & tail use of two locomotives. On 27th August 2015, newly refurbished DBSO 9707 led the 0515 Carlisle to Preston service through Hest Bank, propelled by large logo 37401 Mary Queen of Scots. The train was unusually formed of only three coaches.
