Storr Lochs Power Station

Opened by the North of Scotland Hydro Electric Board in 1952. A feature of Storr Lochs Power Station is the standard gauge cable-worked railway giving access to the plant on the shore. Maximum gradient is 1 in 2! Doesn't look like the line has been used recently. Currently operated by Scottish and Southern Energy, there is a public viewpoint. The two photographs taken on 15 April 2015 show the view from the top, with the car inside the shed alongside.
