Looking south towards Galashiels station on 26 December 2014 over Wheatlands Road and the Gala Water. The new Plumtreehall Brae footbridge (not yet opened) spans the trackbed in the background. This will replace the road bridge that provided a link between the A7 and the A72. See image 49908
