Looking over the site of Fountainhall station towards the A7 (running across the centre background) on 26 December 2014. The old station house and water tower base survive for now. The car on the left is approaching via the recently opened A7 link road and bridge over the railway, replacing the original route via the level crossing alongside the former station.
